There is now a further application for Listed Building Consent (LBC): 23/06458/LBC. This sets out revised proposals for the windows and doors on the balconies of the two side wings to the main building. These appear to be much more consistent with the original design of the building by providing some of the ‘conservation gain’ sought when the original planning application was granted, restoring the stone mullions to the doorways. The windows and doors would still be PPC (i.e. coloured) aluminium, not timber. This latest application includes a comparison of the balconies as originally constructed, as now (following strip out after the NHS vacated the site), as refused in the previous application, and as now proposed:
