Interested in Scotland’s LGBT+ history? Meet 1900s power couple John Gray and Marc-André Raffalovich. After settling in Edinburgh in the early 1900s they moved to a house on Whitehouse Terrace, where they rubbed shoulders with famous artists of the day and had a huge impact on the city’s cultural landscape. They funded the building of St Peter’s Church in Morningside and even played a part in founding Edinburgh Zoo!
