Friends of Grange Cemetery

The Friends of Grange Cemetery is an informal group of volunteers set up by the Grange Association but not restricted to them. With agreement and support from City of Edinburgh Council, they do weeding, cutting back of undergrowth, general gardening and bulb planting. They have researched many of the graves in the cemetery and its many trees as well as the catacombs. Their findings are shown on this website. Together with the Grange Association, they have arranged for additional benches to be installed and have held Doors Open days. The Friends also suggest fallen memorials (headstones) for re-erection, with the funding of these projects provided by the Grange Association.
