Calum our lovely postman is retiring on March 10th (updated date!). He delivers to the west of Grange

Loan, Grange Terrace, top part of St Thomas Road and some of the Oswalds I think.

Calum has work for the Post Office in its different guises for more than fifty years! He’s probably delivered to this round for 20+ years.

If you would like to mark his retirement you can hand envelopes in to the Royal Mail Depot on Strathern Road for the attention of George or Steven/Stephen the Manager. The Depot is open Monday to Friday 8am – 10am, Saturday 8am – noon and closed on Sundays. There is no letterbox.

Please let anyone in his district know who might not know or see this message. Thank you.

      Neil Robb

Incredible to think of all the different individuals, families (and barking dogs?) Calum’s observed over the years. Congratulations to Calum on his retirement.

Salt of the earth is Calum – even if he is a Hearts supporter!

Substitute “exactly because” for “even if”, and you’re getting there …

SC73 – one of his customers has checked and his last day is next Friday 10th March.
