We are seeking a volunteer to lead our small team which monitors and reviews planning applications, maintains the web pages and reports back to the Committee. The role includes e-mailing members near to each planning application, collecting input from interested parties and making recommendations on any comments and objections to be made in the Association’s name.
Knowledge of planning regulations, whilst an advantage, is not essential. However, comfort with working online and with computer applications, and with drafting documents clearly is a necessary pre-requisite. Also important is a commitment to maintaining the unique Grange environment and a willingness to engage with the planning regulations. We will provide advice and support to any appointee.
We would expect the new member to shadow the present role holder to gain experience during 2026 and to take over the role entirely from the end of 2026.
