A message from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland:
Neighbourhood Watch is a fantastic way to build community spirit. Did you know there are currently around 700 local Neighbourhood Watches, covering tens of thousands of households? It is easy to join your local watch or create your own by following the links below.
We sometimes hear complaints that there is no community spirit anymore. WE DON’T AGREE. Just look at the recent severe weather and how neighbours helped each other.
If you value community spirit, then create it. “WE” (that’s you, me, everyone) can nurture community spirit by simply looking out for each other or through things like organising local events that bring people together, fostering a sense of belonging through a shared goal.
Connected communities are happier, safer and healthier!
Neighbourhood Watch Scotland has a group active in this area, The East Grange Neighbourhood Watch. This operates an information cascading system to representatives (convenors) on each road.
We currently have a vacancy for the properties on the south side of Dick Place between Lauder Road and Kilgraston Road.
