“The Old Edinburgh Club is delighted to share with you details of the Jean Guild Grants programme which we are launching to support projects and research which expand what we know about the city and bring our history to life.

This pilot programme is open to local history and heritage organisations, schools and colleges and to individual researchers who may be independent or in the education sector.

What will we support? Projects may involve:

      • carrying out original research and sharing the findings
      • making records more accessible and promoting their use
      • pulling together existing research and knowledge to engage new audiences
      • involving Edinburgh residents in history projects

      Please see further details here.

We are looking for proposals to be submitted by 16 June 2023, and are holding a briefing session for potential applicants on Monday, 15 May, 7-8 pm at the Friends Meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace EH1 2JL. Anyone interested in attending should please let us know by emailing grants@oldedinburghclub.org.uk. “
