      Please give us your personal stories to reduce / generate energy – good or bad:

      • installing air source or ground source heat pumps
      • installing solar panels
      • insulating under floors
      • insulating walls
      • saving water, electricity and gas
      • any other means
      • tell us which parts of this forum are useful or not

      (be careful if you mention companies and are being critical though !)

          The following book has really helped me to better understand the different types of insulation and sympathetic modernisation projects you can undertake in your period property:

          I found it quite rewarding to individually research the author and contributors, some of whom operate their own businesses and YouTube channels offering their own unique advice and experience.
