Please note that this proposal relates to development OUTSIDE Grange Association boundaries but which may have some interest to members in the part of the area closest to the development. There have been a number of PBSAs proposed, and some approved, on Ratcliffe Terrace – that defines the GA boundary.
A Proposal of Application Notice (‘PAN’) has been submitted for proposed development at 16 Bernard Terrace, Edinburgh.
The PAN submission relates to:
“Demolition of existing building and erection of purpose-built student accommodation (Sui Generis) development with landscaping and associated works.”
The date of the first public consultation event is proposed to be held on 14th October 2026 at the Library Gallery, Summerhall, Edinburgh.
Event 1 – 14 October 2026 from 4:00pm to 7.00pm at Library Gallery, Summerhall.
Event 2 – 11 November 2026 from 4:00pm to 7.00pm at Library Gallery, Summerhall.
Applicant: ‘HIFML-HBOS Investment Fund Managers’
There is no additional information at this time. There are no websites to revew.
Since this development lies outside of the area by some distance, it is very unlikely that GA will take a position on it. If you are concerned about this development, contact local councilor, MSP, MP etc. Post a reply to this post. Otherwise, no further action will be taken.
