Wanted – Newsletter Editor

We are looking for a volunteer Newsletter Editor from March 2026 in time for the May 2026 edition. A new editor would develop their own working pattern but the current editor:-

·       liaises with the printer and distribution network manager on print dates for 3 issues per year

·       works out a contents plan and informs the Committee and potential contributors of this       and the deadline set for copy; sets up interviews for articles, when necessary

·       lays out the newsletter using DTP, editing material received to fit the space available

·       sends the edited copy to the contributors for comment and writes relevant pieces to fill any gaps

·       sends the final draft to the Committee and contributors for checking

·       creates a Print Ready version for printing and checks the proofs sent back by the printer

Support will be provided by the other members of the Association Committee who will include the new editor in knowledge sharing and deliberations.
